Description
The Horsetail is a funny looking plant that appears to not have any leaves, the leaves are reduced to scale like extrusions along the stalks.
It reproduces via spores and is often referred to as a living fossil.
The plant has a high mineral content, in particular the silica content, and this has been a reason people often belive it is good for assorted bone related issues.
